# $D Token Utilities

1. **Governance:** as a community driven projects, $D will be used in governance processes and to engage users in product development, content generation and so on 
2. **Platform currency:** $D will be used as the platform currency to access developer tools, gaming contents and other services in the open network 
3. **Staking:** $D is used in staking to encourage more users to become token holders and to contribute to the ecosystem 
4. **Incentives for ecosystem growth:** $D will be used to incentivize builders and users to join and build for the open infrastructure
