Moon Coins

Moon Coins serve as a Hybrid Currency for DAR Open Network and all internal projects within the Multiverse. They are entirely off-chain and non-tradable. Once acquired or earned, players are committed to using their Moon Coins across any of the games or within Dalarnia Nexus.

Players can obtain Moon Coins through various means:

• Direct purchase of Moon Coins at a base price using DAR.

• Acquisition of small/one-time bundles at a discounted rate using DAR.

• Purchase of Moon coins at a discounted price, exclusively for DAR citizens.

• Earning through active participation in our games and Dalarnia Nexus, via in-game quests or standard player progression.

• Participation in other activities that positively impact DAR Open Network’s economy or the DAR token, like Dalarnia Quests.

The primary goal of Moon Coins is to function as an engagement and revenue-sharing mechanism for the community members through Mines of Dalarnias Modbots game mode.

Community Revenue Share

In alignment with the Web3 ethos of community engagement and profit-sharing, a portion of the revenue generated from Moon Coin sales will be redistributed to the community via the Modbots game mode.

Early on the majority of DAR collected by Moon Coin sales will be distributed via this community share model. As the ecosystem matures that cut will be adjusted to eventually stabilize at 50% of the DAR collected by Moon Coin sales for the Modbot's subsequent season prize pool, thereby ensuring a sustainable and rewarding ecosystem for our community.
