๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš€Game Roles

Mines of Dalarnia offers two Roles to participate in the Game: Miners and LAND Owners. However, players don't have to stick with just one role and can participate in both aspects of the game at any time.

Miners

Miners are focused on crafting and improving their equipment with the help of resources they gathered in the mining game. Mining options are limited by the average power level on the minerโ€™s equipment, indicating their overall progress.

When a player begins a dig on a mining plot, the game creates a unique procedurally-generated mine based on the attributes of that mining plot. Players dig, jump and fight through the mine, trying to fill their bag with valuable resources before they die or choose to exit and bring their haul to the surface.

These resources can be sold to other players through the gameโ€™s DEX, or used to craft equipment, cosmetics or consumables to use or to sell on the marketplace.

While parts of Mines of Dalarnia are free to play, players need a Mining Pass to access gameplay on the larger, player-owned planet and unlock all features of the game. Mining Passes are purchased from MoD directly.

LAND Owners

Landowners offer their mining plots for rent to miners. They directly receive a rent fee from miners who dig on their mining plot in the form of the game's utility token $DAR.

However, as resources of a mining plot deplete with each successful dig, land owners will have to manage their mining plot by periodically terraforming it which replenishes its resources. At special occasions, Landowners can upgrade their mining plot, unlocking new tiers of resources and exciting new content.
